Well, we did it! It’s been a solid 24 hours, so I think it’s safe to say that we’re alive and settled in our home for these next few days. We’re staying at AIM (Adventures In Missions) headquarters in Gainesville, Georgia. I’m currently laying on my comfy but sturdy sleeping pad reliving the day. Let me just start off by saying how absolutely amazing it is. I am so incredibly blessed to be here, blessed that I get to be poured into by amazing Godly people, blessed to be surrounded by such amazing Godly men and women. They are so genuine and passionate about the Word of God you can see it in their words and actions, and it is so infectious and so encouraging.
Today was filled with sessions. Basically, we sat through amazing eye opening God-inspired sermons.
I’ll end with this: how do you envision God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit?
It doesn’t matter what you know to be true, but really ask yourself how you feel about it and why.
We talked about the character of God and who He is and what the Bible says about Him. So many things try to influence us and the way we view Him, they can lead us astray and paint totally wrong pictures of Him. Everything people, the media, and other influences say about Him are just heresay unless they truly know Him and talk to Him and read His Word. I encourage you to figure out for yourself who the God of the Universe truly is.
